Notes on the George C. Scott "A Christmas Carol"
- The Ghost of Christmas Present saying “Look here! Beneath my robe!” makes me laugh every time.
- The 1800s must have been ridiculously boring. Some leisure activities shown are: sliding on ice, playing ‘Similes’ (which just involves listing similes…), and reading aloud from The Bible. Yeesh.

Movie Reviews: Triple Shot Thursday
I saw three movies today. Here’s what I thought about each.
Harry Potter 7.1: If I wasn’t a big fan/reader of HP, I think I’d be thoroughly confused. It didn’t really make sense as a movie, with its irregular film structure, but as my friend said, it’s not just a part 1 of 2, it’s a part 7 of 8. It’s meant to be watched as a continuous journey. See it in...

Movie Review: Black Swan

EDIT: Tumblr deleted my original post (WTF?!), so to sum up what I remember:
The acting was great, the camerawork was great, I loved Barbara Hershey (Portman’s mom character), I disliked Mila Kunis and the movie bordered on melodrama at points but overall recommended you see it in theaters. It’s creepy and amazing.
